THE ROLE:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a mechanically inclined, customer-focused professional based in the Boston area. In this technical role, you’ll cultivate and manage client relationships throughout the New England territory (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut).


The position blends remote and on-site work, with an emphasis on specifying mechanical products for major projects such as airports, data centers, semiconductor plants, and university facilities. Your day-to-day activities may involve presenting to executive teams in boardrooms as well as working hands-on with Mechanical Engineers. You’ll partner closely with internal support teams to ensure client requirements are met at every stage of the project.


A major component of this role includes developing and sustaining strong relationships with mechanical engineers and other owner-side stakeholders. The company actively supports client engagement through networking events, happy hours, professional meetups, sporting events, and similar activities. Occasional overnight travel to key accounts will be required.


THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in industrial construction territory sales
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, general contracting, or MEP engineering preferred
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
  • Genuine enthusiasm for client interaction and professional networking
  • Must live in the Boston area and be willing to travel regionally (up to 30% overnight)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
