Regional Sales Executive – Flexible Packaging

Our client is a well-established, 50+ year-old flexible packaging distributor that provides innovative packaging and supply chain solutions across the agricultural industry. Their offerings range from bulk polypropylene bags to fully customized solutions, backed by decades of experience, strong manufacturer partnerships, and nationwide reach. With under 50 employees, they maintain a “small company feel” while offering “big company” resources and capabilities.


About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Regional Sales Executive to lead growth efforts across Southern California, Arizona, and southern New Mexico. The territory includes Bakersfield, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Imperial Valley, with occasional travel to Arizona and southern New Mexico (approximately 3–4 combined trips per year).

This role offers a blend of independence and support — ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys developing business in a multi-state territory. You’ll collaborate directly with senior leadership and tenured peers to onboard effectively, including 3–4 visits to company headquarters during the first year (and about twice annually thereafter).


Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales across the assigned multi-state territory.
  • Prospect for new clients and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Execute sales strategies and account plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Maintain consistent communication and reporting with leadership.
  • Travel regularly throughout the region (approx. 50%+).


Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $100,000
  • First-Year OTE: $120,000+
  • Long-Term OTE: $150,000+ after 2–3 years
  • Company Vehicle and Expense Account Provided
  • 50%+ Regional Travel Required


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B outside sales experience.
  • Proven success managing multi-state or regional territories.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed quotas and drive new business growth.
  • Experience with commodity or packaging-related sales preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • High level of self-motivation, organization, and accountability.
