Regional Sales Manager

Location: Remote (Must be based in the Southeast U.S.)

About the Role

A global leader in critical power systems is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to oversee business development across the Southeast U.S. This role centers around supporting and guiding a network of manufacturer’s reps while engaging directly with end users across industries that simply can’t go down—think data centers, high-tech manufacturing, and medical infrastructure.

The right candidate brings a mix of technical sales experience, relationship-building skills, and the drive to work independently in a heavily travel-focused role. You’ll be selling highly customized solutions with long, consultative sales cycles and collaborating closely with engineers, contractors, consultants, and executives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead a territory covering the Southeast U.S., working closely with 12–15 manufacturer rep groups.
  • Travel frequently (50–80%) for in-person meetings with reps and customers—both regional driving and air travel.
  • Manage sales cycles ranging from a few months to over a year, especially in engineered solution segments.
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels, from frontline technical staff to executive decision-makers.
  • Partner with internal technical and support teams to deliver tailored solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3–8 years of B2B or technical sales experience.
  • Backgrounds in electrical systems, HVAC, industrial manufacturing, or infrastructure equipment sales are a strong plus.
  • Experience working through reps, distributors, or multi-channel sales environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales processes and long sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing a flexible travel schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $135,000–$140,000
  • Bonus: On target ~25%, uncapped structure with upside potential
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, generous parental leave, and more
  • Training: Extensive onboarding, including two weeks at HQ and field training alongside senior leadership

Why Join

This is a chance to represent a respected and growing organization with outstanding benefits, strong internal support, and a compelling product line in a sector that’s expanding. You’ll have autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a territory with major growth potential.
