THE JOB

We are seeking a Security Account Manager located in Eastern Michigan (Detroit area or suburbs) or Ohio. This role will focus on driving enterprise sales of network security solutions to Fortune 5000 and large enterprise customers across the region. The Security Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing territory plans, building high-level customer relationships, and closing new business while expanding existing accounts. This is a direct sales role (with business booked through channels where applicable), requiring substantial travel across the assigned territory.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in enterprise network security and IT sales, with a track record of consistently exceeding sales goals. Key requirements include:

  • 6+ years of field sales experience in network security, IT infrastructure, or NDR solutions.
  • Proven success in enterprise account management with established customer relationships and territory knowledge.
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quotas with demonstrated revenue growth.
  • Ability to develop C-suite relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, pipeline development (4x quota), and territory planning.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, pursuing, and closing new business.
  • Ability to independently manage large, complex enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred backgrounds: Candidates from companies in network security, IT infrastructure, or enterprise technology sales.



THE BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000
  • On-Target Earnings: 100% commission match (OTE $260,000 – $300,000)
