THE JOB

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new recurring revenue and expand market presence across Wisconsin. This is a pure hunter role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new managed I.T. service contracts with companies typically ranging from 10–100 employees.

Operating with high autonomy, the BDM will leverage local B2B networks, attend regional business and networking events, manage the full sales cycle, and work closely with technical teams to scope and present I.T. solutions. Success requires strong relationship-building skills, consistent prospecting activity, and the ability to quickly generate meetings from existing contacts.

This is a field-facing role with statewide travel, and the ideal candidate is based in or near Greater Milwaukee.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in technology, MSP, telecom, or commercial insurance
  • Strong existing network of local business contacts (critical for first 90 days)
  • Proven ability to self-manage pipeline, schedule, and activity without heavy oversight
  • Experience selling consultative or solution-based services
  • High energy, strong communication skills, and a growth-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable with networking, community engagement, and frequent in-person meetings
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Wisconsin


THE BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $70K-$75K+ DOE
  • Commission: 5% of MRR, paid for the life of the client, uncapped
  • OTE:
  • Year 1: ~$100K+
  • Year 2: $115,000–$125,000+
