THE COMPANY:

Our client is a long-standing wholesale materials supplier serving contractors and landscape-related businesses across Northern California. The company provides bulk products used in commercial construction and landscaping projects and is known for being service-oriented, relationship-driven, and highly responsive to customer needs.


This is a small, hands-on business where the sales team plays a visible role in the market. You will help manage existing customer relationships, rebuild awareness with past customers, and grow new business throughout the territory.


THE JOB:

As the sole Outside Sales Representative on the team, you will manage and grow a Northern California territory. You will be responsible for building relationships with contractors and landscape-related customers, maintaining existing accounts, developing new business, and identifying opportunities tied to active projects.


This is a true field sales role for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers in person, and building long-term relationships rather than sitting behind a desk all day.


The Qualifcations:

  • 5+ Years of Outside sales experience in a field-based or territory-based role.
  • Experience selling to contractors, landscapers, construction companies, or job-site buyers.
  • Background in landscape supply, building materials, aggregates, soil / mulch / compost, irrigation, hardscape, equipment rental, construction supply, or a similar contractor-facing industry.
  • Comfortable walking job sites and speaking with general contractors, landscapers, drivers, and field teams.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work without daily supervision.

  • Base salary $70k-$80k (DOE) + Commissions
