THE COMPANY

Our client is a fast-growing, founder-led real estate organization with a strong regional presence across Oregon and Southwest Washington. The company has built a large network of real estate professionals, a centralized operating platform, and a differentiated lead-generation model that supports agents across multiple markets.

The business is entering an important growth phase. With an established agent base, proven lead platform, and increasing opportunity to expand into new territories, the company is now looking for a senior operations leader who can bring structure, accountability, and execution discipline to the organization while preserving the entrepreneurial culture that made the company successful.

This is an opportunity to join a real estate company at a meaningful inflection point. The owners will continue driving vision, relationships, training, and strategic growth, while this leader will become the day-to-day operational force helping turn that vision into consistent execution.

THE JOB

The Senior Vice President of Operations will serve as a key leadership partner to ownership and will be responsible for leading the company’s internal operating rhythm, managing department leaders, improving accountability, and supporting continued expansion.

This person will oversee the people, processes, and KPIs that keep the business moving forward. They will work closely with managing brokers, operations, lead management, administrative support, and other internal team members to make sure goals are clear, expectations are followed, and issues are addressed before they slow down growth.

The ideal candidate is a strong operator who knows how to lead through influence, create accountability, manage autonomous personalities, and bring structure to an entrepreneurial environment. This is not a purely corporate role and not a pure sales role. It requires someone who is comfortable being hands-on, present in the office, close to the team, and willing to solve practical business problems every day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the day-to-day operating cadence of the organization
  • Manage internal leaders across brokerage operations, compliance, growth, recruiting, lead management, and administration
  • Translate ownership’s vision into clear priorities, action plans, KPIs, and follow-through
  • Support agent recruiting, retention, onboarding, and productivity initiatives
  • Help improve consistency around SOPs, team expectations, reviews, and accountability
  • Partner with ownership on expansion into new territories and markets
  • Coordinate operational details when new teams, offices, or brokerage groups join the company
  • Help evaluate current team structure and identify opportunities to improve leadership effectiveness
  • Monitor key business metrics related to recruiting, retention, production, lead-program performance, transaction quality, partner programs, and profitability
  • Build trust with internal staff, agents, team leaders, and business partners
  • Support vendor, partner, and internal relationship management as needed
  • Help protect profitability by reviewing systems, processes, expenses, and operational efficiency
  • Serve as a consistent leadership presence in the office
  • Create a culture of accountability without damaging the company’s relationship-driven environment

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will bring many of the following:

  • Senior operations leadership experience in real estate, mortgage, title, escrow, property management, construction, development, proptech, franchise operations, or another real estate-adjacent industry
  • Experience managing managers, department leaders, sales leaders, branch leaders, producers, brokers, agents, or other autonomous professionals
  • Strong ability to create accountability around KPIs, operating rhythms, SOPs, and performance expectations
  • Experience supporting recruiting, retention, onboarding, productivity, or field-sales growth
  • Ability to work effectively in a founder-led, entrepreneurial company
  • Strong judgment and emotional intelligence when managing conflict, personalities, and internal change
  • Comfort operating as an integrator for visionary owners or senior leaders
  • Ability to lead from the office and create day-to-day stability for the team
  • Strong business acumen, including comfort with profitability, vendor spend, operational efficiency, and performance metrics
  • Experience supporting growth across multiple markets, offices, branches, or territories
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects, integrations, launches, or expansion initiatives
  • Practical, hands-on leadership style with the ability to move between strategy and execution
  • Clear communication style with staff, agents, partners, and ownership
  • Confidence making recommendations, holding people accountable, and identifying when the team structure needs to change
  • Real estate industry experience is strongly preferred, but exceptional candidates from mortgage, title, escrow, property management, construction, development, or other related industries may also be considered

THE BENEFITS

  • Base salary $125,000
  • Performance-based bonus structure tied to company and operational goals
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Three weeks of PTO, including sick and vacation time combined
