THE ROLE

The Channel Sales Associate is responsible for driving new business growth through banking referral partnerships and direct engagement with small business owners.

This position blends relationship management, prospecting, field sales, and consultative solution selling. The successful candidate will partner closely with banking contacts and local business owners to identify payroll and HR solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.


This is a hybrid, field-based position that requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain relationships with banking referral partners
  • Generate and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual client meetings
  • Present payroll and HR technology solutions
  • Prospect within an assigned territory
  • Maintain pipeline activity and forecasting within Salesforce
  • Track activity metrics and achieve sales goals
  • Develop relationships with small business owners
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and client outcomes
  • Stay informed on product offerings and industry developments


THE QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of B2B sales experience preferred
  • Experience working toward sales quotas
  • Comfortable prospecting and generating new business
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working in a field-based sales role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, payroll, HCM, staffing, telecom, merchant services, banking, insurance, or financial services
  • Experience using CRM platforms, including Salesforce
  • Recent graduates of sales-focused programs are encouraged to apply
  • Strong professional presence and presentation skills


THE BENEFITS

  • $55,000 base salary
  • $30,000 variable compensation at 100% quota attainment
  • Approximately $500 per month vehicle and cell phone reimbursement after training
