As a leading food manufacturing company based in Yatala, we're seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Fitter, to join the team. If you are passionate about maintenance work, come from a factory setting working on fixed machinery producing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Performing preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and enhance machinery efficiency.
• Collaborating with the production team to address any maintenance-related concerns.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing or similar environment working on fixed machinery producing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
• Trade qualified.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts based on company requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Shift Options:

Day shift: Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2:30pm. Salary: Permanent, $47-54/hr + penalties, plus OT8

Night shift: Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am. Salary: Permanent $47-54/hr (+ night shift loading which brings it to $65 - $70/hr).*

(please note: probation period is 6 months and pay is $47 ph during this period. It rises after probation and can be negotiated between $50-$54 ph).
