Purpose of Position
To manage all aspects of production, adhering to the provided schedule or communicating variations early.

Managing Director
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with administrative staff to understand schedule priorities and sequence.
- Communicate priorities to the workshop floor and troubleshoot any roadblocks.
- Update administrative staff, customers, and suppliers on schedule status.
- Develop and implement weekly and fortnightly plans for suppliers (painters, transport providers, etc.); communicate and transact the plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with the supplier base to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Manage trade staff attendance and leave requests. Uphold company policies.
- Work with the Managing Director to develop and uphold safety standards and policies.
- Develop and execute maintenance plans for key equipment and workshop machinery.
- Organise repairs and servicing of workshop equipment. Assess tooling and equipment requests from the workshop floor and source as required.
- Partner with the Managing Director to perform trade staff recruitment, onboarding, induction, and skill development to continuously enhance the workforce’s capability.
- Facilitate the development of estimates with input from senior trade staff.
