Hpeople is looking for machine operators for our client in Crestmead! Our clients aren't offering just a workplace; it's a thriving hub of innovation and teamwork. This role features rotating shifts, 38 hours over 4 days Mon to Fri, $33 ph, and any overtime at penalty rates (weekends $49.50 ph)!


Rotating shift-(week 1: Mon-Wed 6 am to 4 pm, Thur 6 am-2 pm) week 2: (Mon to Wed 4 pm- 2 am, Thur 4 pm- 10 pm)


Position Overview:

Are you ready to kickstart your career with energy and enthusiasm? We're on the lookout for a skilled machine operator to join our client's Crestmead team. As a machine operator, you'll dive into a world of exciting challenges, working side by side with our expert production team to deliver outstanding results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machines used in the manufacturing process according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal production.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, coordinating with maintenance staff for more complex repairs.
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Record and report any discrepancies or non-conformities to the Production Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with other machine operators and production staff to achieve production goals.


Requirements:

  • Hand tool experience a must
  • Welding experience and aptitude well regarded
  • Trades apprentices or qualifications are encouraged to apply
  • Attention to detail is your middle name, and you're always ready to tackle any task with gusto.
  • Your physical fitness matches your enthusiasm, making manual tasks a breeze.
