Key Responsibilities:

• Support Fabrication Supervisor: Act as the right-hand person to the current fabrication shop supervisor, ensuring seamless operations and support.
• Quality Control: Maintain a persistent commitment to quality control, performing quality checks before and after key stages and processes.
• Team Leadership Aspirations: Demonstrate an aspiration to become a team leader or leading hand within the next 3-5 years.
• Task Planning: Plan tasks based on priority, schedule, lead time, and material availability.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and advise on bottlenecks, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Safety and Responsibility: Take responsibility for the safety of the team and the adherence to the statement of work.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in the industry.
• Trade Qualification: Trade-qualified Boilermaker with relevant certifications.
• Mechanical Drawings: Proficient in reading and interpreting detailed mechanical drawings.
• Team Player: Approachable, supportive, and a team-oriented individual.
• Self-Driven: Problem solver, self-motivated, and able to keep the team motivated.
• Licenses: Forklift and overhead crane operating licenses are ideal.
• Mining Equipment Manufacturing: Experience in mining equipment manufacturing is advantageous but not required.
