Job Summary:

The Storeman/Driver will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products, and maintaining the organisation of the warehouse. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational and driving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
• Organise and maintain the warehouse to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.

• Order Fulfillment:
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.

• Delivery:
• Load, transport, and deliver materials and products to specified locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Verify delivery documents and ensure accurate deliveries.

• Warehouse Maintenance:
• Ensure the warehouse is secure, organised, and well-maintained.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure safe operation.

Qualifications:

• Valid MR Licence
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, licence required.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication products and materials.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily works in a warehouse environment.
• Frequent lifting, standing, and driving.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
