Our Client is one of Australia’s largest, privately-owned, international freight forwarding companies and a leading player as a wharf cartage carrier. They provide a complete end-to-end service offering inclusive of pick up at origin, air freight and sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing and transport.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a team to deliver accurate and timely assistance and updates on customer inquiries and transport order statuses to clients.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise load plans and local transport
- Take a proactive approach to enhance customer service delivery continually.
- Take charge of customer service delivery and adeptly resolve any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- While knowledge of logistics and road transport is beneficial, it's not a must.
- Any previous experience in customer service within an operational environment is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in using computer systems.
- A customer-focused mindset, including the ability to adapt service levels and communication styles to meet diverse customer needs.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Proficiency in phone communication.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and build effective working relationships.
- Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines in line with customer service principles.
- Excellent self-management skills, including the ability to work autonomously and manage fluctuating workloads.
