Our Client:


Our Client is one of Australia’s largest, privately-owned, international freight forwarding companies and a leading player as a wharf cartage carrier. They provide a complete end-to-end service offering inclusive of pick up at origin, air freight and sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing and transport.


Responsibilities:


  • Working in a team to deliver accurate and timely assistance and updates on customer inquiries and transport order statuses to clients.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise load plans and local transport
  • Take a proactive approach to enhance customer service delivery continually.
  • Take charge of customer service delivery and adeptly resolve any issues that arise.


Requirements:


  • While knowledge of logistics and road transport is beneficial, it's not a must.
  • Any previous experience in customer service within an operational environment is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems.
  • A customer-focused mindset, including the ability to adapt service levels and communication styles to meet diverse customer needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in phone communication.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and build effective working relationships.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines in line with customer service principles.
  • Excellent self-management skills, including the ability to work autonomously and manage fluctuating workloads.
