Job Title: Offsider

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Offsider to join our team. The Offsider will work closely with our primary operators to assist in various tasks related to removalist operations. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with clients. Ideal candidates will have experience with driving MR vehicles and in the removalist industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Primary Operators: Work alongside primary operators to support them in their tasks and duties, including but not limited to equipment operation, loading, unloading, and transportation of goods.
2. Loading and Unloading: Help in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safe handling and storage practices.
3. Equipment Setup: Assist in setting up and preparing equipment for operation, ensuring it is functioning properly and meets safety standards.
4. Maintenance and Cleaning: Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure equipment and workspaces are kept in good condition.
5. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management by keeping track of supplies and materials, and notifying supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
7. Quality Control: Help in ensuring that all work meets quality standards and specifications.
8. Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Requirements:

1. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
2. Experience: At least 1 year of experience driving MR vehicles and 1 year of experience in the removalist industry preferred.
3. Communication Skills: Well-spoken and able to interact effectively with clients.
4. Location: Based in or around the Geebung area or willing to travel to Geebung for work assignments.
5. Availability: Available to work full days, ranging from 6 to 12 hours, at least 4 days a week between Monday and Saturday.
