Job Description:

As an Electrician with our fresh food manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and machinery. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment across the facility, following safety guidelines and industry regulations. You will work closely with our production team to address any electrical issues promptly, minimising downtime and optimising productivity. Additionally, you will collaborate with the maintenance team to perform preventive maintenance tasks and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions, ensuring efficient and effective problem resolution.
• Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed working with Maintenance CRM (MEX)

Requirements:

• Valid electrical trade qualification (Electrical Fitter Mechanic license or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, PLC, and industry equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
