LinHR's client specializes in the distribution of high-quality laminate flooring and related products. With their manufacturing operations launched in Canada and their business expanding, they are currently seeking to hire Production Worker in Ajax, L1S 6N1. This is a full-time position with the company offering training opportunities. New graduates are encouraged to apply for this role.

The starting salary is $17.00 per hour. After three month probation period, the salary will be $19.00 to $25.00 per hour and annual bonus. We also provide enhanced group benefits including dental and vision plan and free lunch.


Your journey begins as a Production Worker, where you'll immerse yourself in the operations, gaining invaluable insights. But that's just the beginning – envision progressing into a spectrum of roles: from Warehouse Associate to Forklift Driver, Procurement Specialist to Production Planner, Inside Sales extraordinaire, Lab Technician, and embracing novel positions as our client expands their production lines.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operating stationary machinery.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
  • Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a high school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours. Presently, the schedule spans from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive of a rejuvenating 30-minute break.
  • Able to work in a manufacture environment which might need to lift 25 to 50 lbs
  • A collaborative spirit, poised to thrive within a dynamic team.
  • The eagerness to absorb new information and concepts with ease.
