As their business continues to grow, we’re excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join their inclusive and diverse team at their manufacturing facility in n Ajax, ON L1S 6N1. 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $60,000–$66,000 annually
  • Annual bonus based on company performance

Responsibilities  

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, from job postings to interviews and onboarding of new hires.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Administer day-to-day HR activities, including free lunch program coordination, handling disciplinary actions, terminations, and maintaining positive employee engagement.
  • Health & Safety:
  • Promote and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment. Participate in workplace inspections and safety initiatives. Manage WSIB cases. 
  • Time & Attendance Support:
  • Track employee attendance and support the collection of payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Translation Services:
  • Provide translation and interpretation services as needed to support communication among staff and management (preferred but not required).
  • Other duties as required: Assist with other HR functions and administrative duties as required to support a productive work environment.


Skills & Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in an HR generalist or related role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment laws and health & safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Bilingual (English and Mandarin) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems is preferred.


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
