Mid-sized law firm is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney in Bedminster, NJ. This is a hybrid opportunity. The ideal candidate will have extensive courtroom experience, proven expertise in managing high-stakes litigation, and the ability to provide strategic counsel to a diverse clientele. Great opportunity for an Attorney who wants to be in court most of the time. Salary range is $130-160k+ DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the defense of complex medical malpractice cases from inception through trial and appeal.
• Conduct case evaluations, develop litigation strategy, and advise clients on risk assessment and potential exposure.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, prepare trial briefs, oversee discovery, including expert witness preparation.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings and trials.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Stay current on changes in healthcare law.
• Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior associates.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Bedminster, NJ office.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of defense litigation experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice and/or General Liability.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active and good standing NJ bar license required. PA license a plus.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in defense litigation.
• Experience reviewing complex medical records, expert testimony, and scientific evidence.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Prior experience representing hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, or healthcare systems, preferred.
