Title: Production Manager (Vũng Tàu Vietnam)

The company is a global provider of oilfield services primarily focused on oil and gas reservoir evaluation and production optimization.

• The Production Manager needs to ensure manufactured products meet customer’s quality requirements and meet delivery schedules.

Roles & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Production Manager is responsible for day to day efficient running of the workshop
• Staff management– including monitoring & directing staff to ensure required activities are performed to standards and within appropriate timeframes.
• Management of the work in relation to technical detail, program, quality assurance and safety.
• Co-ordination of labour, equipment and materials for the proper and timely execution of the work.
• Ensure the latest drawing revision is in use.
• Ensure that Work Instructions, Inspection Sheets, etc are filled out correctly.
• Liaison with the Quality Representative as and when required ensuring that the correct materials are used in relation to the drawings.
• Promptly notify the General Manager or QC representative of any non-conforming work and correct the work by approved corrective action
• Support, mentor & train new employees.
• Hold weekly Toolbox meetings.

 Roles & Responsibilities include but are not limited to (continued):

• Organize tooling as required prior to next process or set up, goal to keep the CNC machine’s working to optimize our production capacity and reduce nonproductive time.
• Monitor insert/ tooling wear. Target to maximize insert life
• Follow all company occupational health, safety and environmental requirements & adhere to all QHSE legislative requirements.
• Maintain a clean & orderly work area at all times.
• Report all hazards, near misses, injuries & incidents immediately as per company requirements.
•  Participate in incident investigations and non-conformance investigations with guidance from the QHSE Department
• Ensure all machinery is inspected and maintained as per the company and legal requirements
• Review of QA/QC non-conformities that have been raised on a month-to-month basis to identify trends and rectify immediately
• Provide Environmental Statistics to the Global QHSE Manager for the facility on a month-to-month basis
• Always set a personal example in safe work practices and actively participate in safety improvement activities.
• Report to work fit for duty without impairment from drugs, medications, fatigue or other influences that may adversely affect the QHSE aspects of your duties.
• Perform all work duties in a manner which ensures the health & safety of themselves and others.
• Be responsible for constantly examining work environment for hazards that could lead to an injury or incident & promptly initiate corrective action.
• Ensure that all policies, procedures & safe work practices are followed at all times
• Address improper safety practices observed by co-workers, contractors and visitors
