About the role

We’re seeking a Birmingham-based, sales-driven Estimator / Project Manager to join a top-tier commercial asphalt and concrete company with over a decade of success serving major national brands. This is a high-impact role with significant growth potential—including the opportunity to build and lead your own team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, analyzing bid specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure competitive and successful project bids.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop accurate cost estimates for asphalt paving and concrete projects
• Conduct thorough site visits and assessments
• Manage multiple projects from estimation through completion
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and contractors
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality control
• Coordinate with crews and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in asphalt and/or concrete
• Proven track record in project management
• Strong knowledge of Alabama construction market
• Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
• Experience with commercial and retail construction projects
• Knowledge of DOT specifications
• Background in working with national retail clients
