We have a client seeking a driven relationship manager to join their team as an Acquisitions Associate. This full-time, hybrid role is based in San Diego, CA. As an Acquisitions Associate, you will be integral in identifying and assessing real estate investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and negotiating deals. This position requires significant fieldwork, including frequent travel to visit properties and meet with stakeholders, as well as periodically managing events.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Identify and evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities
  • Manage appointments with agents, utilizing both inbound leads and those you uncover
  • Conduct thorough market research and property analysis
  • Perform due diligence, including property inspections and site visits
  • Assist in the negotiation and structuring of acquisitions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, sellers, and industry professionals
  • Conduct outbound calls to real estate agents and homeowners to generate leads and set appointments for our sales team
  • Educate prospects about our company's services, unique value proposition, and benefits
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and handle escalated qualified opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect data in our CRM system, documenting all interactions and information
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies, scripts, and objection handling techniques
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights during conversations
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, appointment setting, and conversion rates
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and understanding of our target audience through ongoing training and professional development opportunities


About You:

  • Willing to travel frequently and work a flexible schedule
  • Exceptionally organized
  • Skilled in negotiating high-dollar deals
  • Driven attitude with strong analytical and research skills
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
  • Experience in real estate investment, acquisitions, or a related field is a plus
  • Some knowledge of the distressed housing market is a plus


Work Type: fulltime, W2

Location: Hybrid - San Diego, CA

Pay: Base - $60k plus commission ($100k - 150k OTE)
