The team is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to support construction projects in Northwest Indiana, with primary jobsite locations in Hobart and Wheatfield.    

The Mechanical Project Manager Position 

The Mechanical Project Manager oversees all phases of HVAC/R mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and turnover. The role manages project cost controls, schedules, forecasts, and overall execution while coordinating with clients, engineers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff. 

The Mechanical Project Manager reviews drawings, specifications, submittals, and changes for constructability and compliance, while managing RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.  

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Mechanical Project Manager Position 

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field   
• 3–5+ years of mechanical construction experience preferred  
• Mission-critical project experience preferred   
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.  
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and mechanical construction workflows.  
• High proficiency with Procore preferred
