The Human Resources Generalist
The HR Generalist is responsible for the creation, coordination and implementation of all Human Resources policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, employee retention efforts, benefit administration, training, employee relations, orientation and onboarding, policy writing and interpretation, organizational development, and employee performance evaluations.
The HR Generalist works directly with managers and employees throughout both organizations to ensure that the HR strategy and functions are aligned with the overall business needs. The position plays a pivotal role in ensuring HR processes and procedures run effectively to best support the organizations.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the HR Generalist
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
· 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources position
· Detail and task-oriented, with a strong sense of organization and self-motivation
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
· Ability to take on a leadership role, present ideas to management, and facilitate training sessions with the team
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the HR Generalist
The position is full-time, permanent, and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including 401(k) with a discretionary employer match, health insurance, paid time off, and the ability to make recommendations and changes to the HR structure throughout the course of employment.
This position requires an individual to be on-site in the Plymouth, MI office full-time and reports directly to the Owner and President.
