Our Client

Located in Oakland County, our client is a provider of manufacturing solutions, specializing in CNC machines, automation systems, and precision machining services. Customers of our client include those in automotive, firearms, aerospace, medical, and general industrial sectors.

 

The Program Manager Position

The Program Manager delivers profitable, on-time, and specification-compliant programs, including technical support, machines, turnkey projects, automation, and systems. The position partners with cross-functional teams and the sales group to ensure seamless communication, timely execution, and strong customer relationships while managing projects from start to finish, including scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

 

The Program Manager leads program teams, manages customer and supplier communications, and provides regular updates. The position coordinates with internal and external suppliers on project design, build, and supports field modifications.

 

Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree required, Master of Engineering preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Detailed understanding of Customer Workpiece Tolerance Specifications, Precision and Capability of Company Product, and Full Process Feasibility Assessments.
  • PMP Certificate or willing to pursue certificate preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 35% or greater is required.
