The Director of Construction Position

The Director of Construction supports the field operations teams in all aspects including financial analysis, design, development, and construction. The Director of Construction leads, coaches, and manages the team, by ensuring that all team members are performing to the companies’ standards, achieving desired results, and finding efficient and effective solutions that meet the collective goals and visions of F&B.

 

Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Regional Director in business development initiatives, validating estimating assumptions, collaborating with HR on staffing needs and issues, and working with Project Managers to rectify any customer-relation issues during a project.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Director of Construction Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervision role 
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and manage multiple large-scale projects
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction software
