The Division Manager Position

The Company has had success utilizing the model of combined Estimators/Project Managers and this role will continue that model, titled as Division Manager. Located out of the Metro Columbus, Ohio area, The Division Manager is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects, which includes, but is not limited to: review of bid opportunities via ODOT’s letting schedule and information, identify target projects, prepare estimates and budgets, and then ultimately manage projects through completion and final close out. The Division Manager role has a direct influence on the results of projects and the overall success of the Company.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Division Manager Position

  • Five years of construction management experience, with at least two years in estimating, ideally in the paving industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Ability to strategize and multi-task
  • Knowledge of Budgeting, Profit and Loss statements, and how projects (and companies) ultimately make a profit
  • Ability to travel within the state and possibly to surrounding states, typically daily travel with minimal (less than 10%) oversight travel


Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Division Manager Position

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive base salary, clearly defined bonus plan directly tied to project profitability, 401K plan with a 4% employer match, paid time off, and an entrepreneurial company culture. In addition, the Company offers health insurance, dental, vision Vehicle reimbursement, and fuel card.

 

The Recruitment Process for the Division Manager
