Lead Project Manager - Civil

The Lead Project Manager leads the Project Management Team for their designated region or service. This role guides PM Teams in the successful completion of construction projects, from the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out. Responsible for project and team oversight, this position coaches the Project Management Team in overall forecasting, resource allocation, project accounting, and project control and compliance.

 

Education, Experience and Qualifications for the Lead Project Manager - Civil

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred, or equivalent in training and experience
  • At least five (5) years of project management experience or seven (7) years of experience in leading or mentoring a team. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.
  • Collaborates with the PM Team to lead efforts in establishing standard operating procedures.
  • Partners with Estimating Teams to participate in the preconstruction and bidding processes.
  • Travel to and from job sites and office locations is required for this position. Fessler & Bowman will reimburse travel expenses when applicable.
