The Senior Project Manager Position

The Senior Project Manager manages one or more construction projects, serves as the primary corporate contact, and supervises the Project Managers, Project Engineers, and interns assigned to each project while working closely with the Project Superintendent and jobsite leadership. The role builds strong relationships with Owners, Architects/Engineers, Subcontractors/Trade Contractors, and Suppliers; maintains the job progress schedule; coordinates subcontractor work, material deliveries, contracts, purchase orders, and submittals; and oversees change management, job costs, quality assurance, safety compliance, and sustainable construction procedures to complete projects within time, cost, and quality requirements.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• 5 years of experience as a project manager, with prior construction experience, is required
• A college degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field is required
• Proven project management experience on several significant construction projects
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, including sound judgment, proactive resolution of challenges, and the ability to guide teams through competing priorities
• Approachable, collaborative style with the ability to supervise effectively and work well across teams
• Working knowledge of scheduling, subcontracts, change management, job cost control, and quality assurance
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing to organize project information and prepare project documents
• LEED Accreditation preferred
