A local family is looking for a part-time Nanny and Family Assistant for their one-year-old son. They are looking for some who can help them with daily childcare, errands, household chores, some simple meal prep and other daily tasks. The goal is to find a nanny who will be fully engaged and playful with their child.

Nanny and Family Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a safe and stimulating environment
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor adventures
• Maintain children's hygiene and cleanliness, including bathing and changing diapers as needed
• Transport to and from activities and appointments
• Collaborate with parents to enforce household rules and routines
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up play areas and children's rooms, laundry, and dishwashing
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns that may arise

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities (These are preferences, versus absolute requirements)

• Well-organized, flexible and pro-active
• Fun-loving & energetic
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and a clean driving record, as this position requires driving to and from various places.

Compensation and Structure for Nanny Position

This is a part time position working approximately 25-30 hours, based in Fenton, Michigan. The position likely requires at least a 3-day work week with the possibility of full-time if needed. Additionally, with the hourly rate the family is willing to pay, the position provides the right candidate with the opportunity to make a good income without having to work full-time!
