Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our Mediterranean street food concept. This role requires a hands-on leader who embodies our commitment to quality, authenticity, and genuine hospitality while driving operational excellence and business growth.


Key Responsibilities


Operations Management

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring adherence to our quality standards and authentic Mediterranean experience
  • Manage food ordering and inventory control (2-3 times per week ordering schedule)
  • Implement and maintain rigorous food safety protocols and waste management practices
  • Create and manage staff schedules to optimize service and cost efficiency
  • Maintain pristine cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere throughout the restaurant

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide hands-on leadership with a willingness to work the line and support wherever needed
  • Serve as an exceptional motivator who brings out the best in every team member
  • Create and maintain a positive, collaborative working environment
  • Develop and mentor shift leaders to ensure smooth operations during all hours
  • Lead by example in delivering our mission of genuine hospitality

Business Growth & Sales

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement
  • Expand catering operations for weddings, graduations, corporate events, and pharmaceutical offices
  • Identify new opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet business objectives
  • Build relationships within the community to drive brand awareness and customer loyalty

Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest experiences our authentic Mediterranean street food journey
  • Maintain service standards that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Foster an environment where breaking bread together becomes a memorable experience

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Fast Casual Management experience preferred
  • Strong background in QSR management will be considered
  • Culinary management experience from corporate dining, educational facilities, or food markets welcomed
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and building positive team environments
  • Experience with food ordering, inventory management, and cost control
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Hands-on management style with willingness to work in all areas of operation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Catering experience highly valued - ability to articulate growth strategies for catering division
  • Experience with Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine
  • Background in authentic, from-scratch cooking operations
  • Demonstrated success in community engagement and local marketing

Schedule & Expectations

  • 45 hours per week (typically 8 shifts)
  • Standard schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM with strong shift leader support for closing
  • Flexibility to close and work weekend shifts as business needs require
  • Commitment to being present during peak service periods

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Salary: $60,000 annually
  • Growth Opportunity: Increase to low $70,000s after approximately 6 months based on performance
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package through Vicari Restaurant Group
  • 80% of benefits cost covered by employer
  • 2 weeks Paid Time Away (PTA)
