The Role

My client are expanding their team and are looking to hire a skilled Welder / Fabricator. You will be adopting their ‘right first time’ philosophy, being expected to achieve high standards of quality, with a focus on the continual improvement of working processes.

Welder / Fabricator

Main Responsibilities

-           Operate manual flame-cutting equipment.

-           Operate semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

-           Undertake welding processes – MIG/MAG & TIG.

-           Bend and straighten metal – hammering, chipping and grinding.

-           Set up and operate fabrication machinery.

-           Contribute to continuous improvement.

Welder / Fabricator

The Candidate

-           Time served welder (or equivalent).

-           Must have knowledge and experience with Robot Welding.

-           Knowledge of welding equipment MIG/MAG & TIG.

-           Knowledge of manual & semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

-           Seam weld experience (Ideally).

-           Worked to ASME standards (ideally).

-           Experience of using fabrication machinery.

-           Laser equipment experience (Desirable).

-           Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
