Role Overview
As a New Sales Executive, you’ll play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. You’ll be the first point of contact for our prospective customers, making your impact felt through strategic prospecting, engaging cold calls, and consultative sales approaches. We’re looking for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and a talent for uncovering opportunities that align with our logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients across various industries, utilising databases, social media, and other tools to build a strong pipeline of leads.
· Cold Calling: Conduct high volume outbound calls to initiate conversations with prospective clients, understand their logistics needs, and introduce our offerings.
· Client Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with new clients, providing information about our services and addressing any inquiries to establish trust and credibility.
· Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for penetrating new markets and growing our customer base.
· Consultative Selling: Listen to and assess client needs, proposing logistics solutions that best align with their business requirements.
· Sales Cycle Management: Drive prospects through the full sales cycle, from initial contact through closing, with attention to detail and persistence.
· Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to better position our offerings.
Requirements:
· Experience: Proven track record in sales, ideally within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry. Experience with cold calling and outbound sales strategies is highly preferred.
· Passion for Sales: Enthusiasm for sales, a relentless drive to succeed, and a proactive approach to engaging potential clients.
· Prospecting Skills: Skilled at identifying and qualifying leads, with the ability to turn cold leads into warm prospects.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of delivering persuasive pitches and fostering client relationships.
· Negotiation Skills: Ability to understand client needs and negotiate effectively to close deals that are beneficial for both the client and us.
· Time Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and follow up with diligence.
· Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, prospecting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
