Transaction Manager – Automotive Dealership, Bolton


We are seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join our dealership in Bolton. In return for your commitment, we offer a basic salary of £35,000, with an OTE of £50,000.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm with one late night till 7pm one night per week. Saturday 9am - 5pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Sunday and Bank Holidays - 10am - 4pm, 1 day off per week, every week with alternate weekends off.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage all inbound leads efficiently, ensuring conversion targets are met.
  • Provide up-to-date information on finance and insurance products, matching customer needs.
  • Coach Sales Executives to improve performance, referral techniques, and incremental sales.
  • Provide daily prospecting data to drive outbound activity targets for the site and individuals.
  • Monitor the Service Diary for sales opportunities daily.
  • Produce achievement reports and statistics to support realistic finance targets and budgets.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitive finance products.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA requirements and all relevant legislation.
  • Follow defined sales processes for finance products, maintaining company and legal standards.
  • Perform ‘Duty Manager’ responsibilities as required.
  • Maintain professional standards in dress, attitude, customer care, and health & safety.
  • Attend training to develop finance and company knowledge.
  • Implement company policies and procedures as appropriate.

Qualifications, Training & Experience:


  • Experience dealing with new and used vehicles.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of FCA-compliant processes.
  • Experienced in following robust sales processes and enforcing high standards.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and negotiate profitable transactions.
  • Capability to mentor and develop team members while being a collaborative team player
