Are you an experienced Sales Order Processor with great attention to detail and have experience of working with the Far East? If you are used to working in a busy and fast paced environment and enjoy a positive team and company culture then this is the role for you! There is a starting salary of £25,500 along with a great benefits package.

 

 

 

The Role:


 

  • Assisting business customers with various queries via Email
  • Dealing with incoming calls
  • Providing and following up quotes
  • General Admin, paperwork
  • Samples recording and management.
  • Order processing Far East Orders for BHQ / Laltex Promo / Pen Com / Source IT

 Liaising with customers via email and telephone.

  •  Liaising with overseas suppliers (including European), primarily via email, seldom via telephone.
  • Quoting on large quantity stock orders and bespoke item orders, direct from the Far East.
  • Negotiation of pricing, lead times, and order specifics with suppliers.
  • Customer credit checks via DRA and Finance Dept.
  • Processing orders should they be transferred from quote to order stage. Addition to order software – Maginus, and potential other systems/files/sheets.
  • Arrange swatches, pre-production samples from suppliers, for the customer.
  • Assisting with shipping of products including calculating currency conversions, duty costs and freight costs
  • Placement and tracking of order with suppliers.
  • Middleman liaising the artwork for review, amendment, and approval between customer and supplier.
  • Chasing and applying pressure to suppliers in relation to lead times, schedules, and obligations.
  • Inspection Report review and approval/rejection.
  • Monitoring of stock re-works.
  • Ensuring shipments, and subsequent tracking.
  • Managing customer lead time/schedule expectations.
  • Liaison with UK warehouse to confirm receipt of goods and to arrange despatch.
  • Confirm deliveries to customers. Provide POD’s.
  • After-sales - dealing with customer issues, e.g. Print, Delivery queries.
  • After-sales – liaising with suppliers/factories, should issues arise.
  • 24 Recording of all relevant order details and liaisons from start to finish, and any additional follow-up. Paperless system.
