Job Title: Sales Administrator

Salary: £30,000

Location: Elland


Overall purpose:


To provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to a designated team (Business Development Managers) in accordance with company processes to ensure timely execution of customer commercial requests. You will be required to work in various areas and with different departments throughout the organisation to develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of sales support. This will be via on-the-job training and formal training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding. 

 

Job Responsibilities

·      Customer champion – to assist the commercial team with day-to-day tasks, ensuring all internal BDM actions are prioritised and actioned through internal support departments:

·      Receiving and actioning general emails from customers

·      Raising requests on Salesforce system

·      Assist in the production and analysis of business plans and reports to monitor product performance

·      Liaise with key customer contacts to cover BDM unavailability (holidays, courses, travelling, illness etc)

·      Work with others in support departments to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements (eg costings, quotes, specs, process etc)

·      Supply chain communication support

·      Assist in the preparation of costing, quotations and raising production packs

·      Maintaining CRM systems

·      Monitor sales, quality and service by managing general emails from customers and actioning their requests

·      Undertake additional supportive tasks where required

·      A safe working environment to be maintained at all times

·      Strong IT skills – Excel and Outlook

·      Strong written and oral communication skills

·      Well organised with attention to detail
