Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday – Thursday – 7:00am/4:30pm & Friday – 7:00am/11:30am

Salary (DOE): £16.00ph - £20.00ph (£31,200 p/a - £39,000 p/a)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Joiner to join our clients production team at their Mirfield manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in crafting the internal and external joinery components of our modular buildings, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and finish.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of joinery work including framework, stud walls, door fitting, skirting, architraves, windows, and internal finishing.
  • Work from technical drawings and production specifications to build units to precise requirements.
  • Carry out timber cutting, assembly, and installation using a range of hand and power tools.
  • Install modular components including doors, windows, panels, and partitions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and site procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with production supervisors, electricians, plumbers, and other trades.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.


Skills & Experience Required

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent trade qualification).
  • Proven experience in a joinery role, ideally in a modular or off-site construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of wood properties, joinery materials, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and assembly drawings accurately.
  • Skilled in the safe use of joinery tools and machinery.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with good attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
