We’re working with a specialist engineering and manufacturing business in Fareham who are looking to bring in a Visual Inspector to support their quality team.

What’s the role all about?

This is a highly detail-focused role where you’ll be responsible for carrying out first-off and in-process inspections on precision components, ensuring everything meets strict quality standards.

You’ll be working with small parts under magnification, so accuracy and consistency are key.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out first-off inspections on precision components
• Perform detailed visual inspections using magnification equipment
• Identify defects, inconsistencies or non-conformances
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Support quality and production teams to maintain high standards
• Ensure all work meets internal and customer quality requirements

What you’ll need

• Background in PCB assembly, electrical assembly or precision manufacturing
• Experience working with small components and fine detail
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
