Salary: £16.50 – £17.00

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:30pm, Friday, 7:00am – 11:00am

CNC Miller The Company

Our client in Leeds are looking to expand their team by adding an CNC Miller to an already high performing team. Our client have been an established sub-contract engineering service since the 1970’s and have grown to be a very reputable company with a large client base where over 50% of clients they had when originally started still use them to this day. We’re looking for an experienced CNC Miller to set, operate, and carry out online programming on a variety of CNC machines.

CNC Miller The Role

·       Set, operate, and edit online program CNC milling machines (HAAS & Siemens ShopMill controls)

·       Machine a range of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and plastics

·       Produce small to medium batch work – from 1-offs to 5,000 units

·       Work to engineering drawings and ensure all components meet specification

·       Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient working area

CNC Miller Requirements

·       Time-served or experienced CNC Miller

·       Confident with HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill controls

·       Strong setting and operating skills, with experience in online programming

·       Good understanding of engineering drawings and machining principles

·       Reliable, detail-focused, and takes pride in quality work
