Salary Range: $125k-$135k/ year plus Bonus and Benefits
Position Summary
This role will play a vital role in ensuring financial integrity, accuracy, and operational support across our clients' five properties. This position is more than just managing numbers—it is a critical business partner who champions transparency, accountability, and financial discipline aligned with a people-first culture. By nurturing strong relationships with hotel leaders and corporate teams, the Controller supports operational excellence and sustainable growth, reinforcing that investing in teams and guests drives long-term profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight & Reporting
· Lead all accounting functions for the portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
· Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow management.
· Monitor compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting
· Collaborate with General Managers and finance teams to develop detailed budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic goals.
· Analyze variances and provide insightful commentary to support data-driven decision-making.
· Partner with hotel leaders to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost management, always with the ethos that people and guest experience are paramount.
Audit & Compliance
· Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all findings are addressed proactively.
· Maintain adherence to accounting standards and company policies, acting as a trusted resource for hotel teams.
Team Support & Leadership
· Foster a collaborative partnership with hotel General Managers and finance staff, providing coaching and development opportunities.
· Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and teamwork within the finance function and across properties.
· Serve as a key liaison between corporate finance and hotel operations, translating financial data into actionable insights that empower leaders.
Systems & Process Improvement
· Drive standardization and efficiency in accounting processes and financial systems across the portfolio.
· Lead initiatives for automation, technology enhancements, and best practice sharing.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
· 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years managing multi-property or multi-unit hospitality accounts.
· Strong knowledge of hospitality financials, reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
· Demonstrated experience with M3 hospitality accounting system is a must.
· Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to compliance and controls.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships.

Working Conditions
Role is mainly office or remote based, with scheduled travel to the portfolio hotels to support onsite financial operations, training, and relationship building. Flexibility for occasional extended hours may be required to meet reporting deadlines or audits.
