📍 United States (Hybrid/Remote flexibility depending on location)

💰 $85,000–$105,000 base (based on experience & geography)


Our client, a leading location-based digital video media platform, is hiring a Manager, Retail Marketing to drive retailer growth, engagement, and industry visibility across its national network.

This company operates at the intersection of media, retail, and real-world consumer behavior — delivering targeted digital video content at scale while maintaining strong local retailer relationships. This role will play a critical part in expanding retail partnerships, strengthening retention, and shaping how the brand shows up across the fuel & convenience ecosystem.


The Opportunity

The Manager, Retail Marketing will own marketing initiatives supporting retail network growth and retailer success. This person will collaborate cross-functionally with Retail Partnerships, Retailer Success, Creative, Insights, Marketing Communications, and Client Solutions teams to develop compelling programs, materials, and industry-facing initiatives.


This is a highly visible role ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys storytelling backed by data, and understands how to market into retail environments.


Key Responsibilities

Retail Network Growth

  • Develop retailer-focused sales materials and value proposition storytelling
  • Support distribution partnership initiatives and network expansion goals
  • Partner with Insights teams to create retailer-facing case studies and performance narratives
  • Collaborate with external marketing teams of distribution partners


Retailer Engagement & Retention

  • Lead marketing campaigns supporting retailer engagement and retention
  • Develop initiatives that support strong satisfaction and Net Promoter Score performance
  • Create targeted communications and programs that strengthen long-term partnerships


Industry Marketing & Events

  • Lead marketing support for retailer-facing events (e.g., industry trade shows and conferences)
  • Develop presentations, collateral, and partnership materials
  • Collaborate with industry associations, publications, and partners to elevate brand presence
  • Create clear creative briefs aligned to Retailer Success objectives


Retail Promotions & Creative Execution

  • Optimize processes for retailer promotional advertising units
  • Partner with creative teams to develop customized materials aligned to retailer goals
  • Oversee production from concept to execution, ensuring brand consistency
  • Implement feedback loops to refine creative performance and drive in-store results


What They’re Looking For

  • 4–5 years of marketing experience in retail, convenience, media, or agency environments
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and consumer behavior
  • Experience developing campaign materials and sales-enablement content
  • Proven cross-functional project management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (copywriting and storytelling required)
  • Ability to translate data and insights into compelling narratives
  • Positive, collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset


Nice to Have

  • Media/advertising industry exposure
  • Experience supporting trade shows or industry events
  • Familiarity with creative tools (Photoshop) and email marketing platforms
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency


Education

BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
