Executive Sales Director – Financial Services

OTE: $300,000–$340,000


AC Lion has been engaged by a fast-growing, premium digital media platform to identify an Executive Sales Director focused on the Financial Services vertical.


This is a senior commercial role responsible for driving revenue growth across both consumer and B2B financial services brands. The ideal candidate brings deep relationships across brand and agency decision-makers, a consultative sales mindset, and a proven ability to close high-value partnerships within digital media environments.


This opportunity sits within a highly visible commercial team and offers meaningful exposure to executive leadership inside a dynamic, high-growth media company.


The Opportunity

The Executive Sales Director will:

  • Own and grow revenue across the Financial Services vertical
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts while driving new business
  • Develop and execute category growth strategies
  • Evangelize a premium media brand and its advertising solutions to senior marketing decision-makers
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through renewal and upsell
  • Partner cross-functionally with Account Management and Marketing to build compelling go-to-market materials
  • Forecast and report on pipeline and performance metrics
  • Carry and exceed a defined revenue quota


What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10+ years of digital media sales experience
  • Demonstrated success selling into Financial Services brands (consumer and/or B2B)
  • Strong consultative sales approach
  • Established relationships across brand and agency stakeholders
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic partnerships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment


Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

  • On-Target Earnings: $300,000–$340,000
