AC Lion has been engaged by a fast-growing, premium digital media platform to identify an Executive Sales Director focused on the Financial Services vertical.
This is a senior commercial role responsible for driving revenue growth across both consumer and B2B financial services brands. The ideal candidate brings deep relationships across brand and agency decision-makers, a consultative sales mindset, and a proven ability to close high-value partnerships within digital media environments.
This opportunity sits within a highly visible commercial team and offers meaningful exposure to executive leadership inside a dynamic, high-growth media company.
The Opportunity
The Executive Sales Director will:
- Own and grow revenue across the Financial Services vertical
- Manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts while driving new business
- Develop and execute category growth strategies
- Evangelize a premium media brand and its advertising solutions to senior marketing decision-makers
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through renewal and upsell
- Partner cross-functionally with Account Management and Marketing to build compelling go-to-market materials
- Forecast and report on pipeline and performance metrics
- Carry and exceed a defined revenue quota
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10+ years of digital media sales experience
- Demonstrated success selling into Financial Services brands (consumer and/or B2B)
- Strong consultative sales approach
- Established relationships across brand and agency stakeholders
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic partnerships
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
