About the Role
For a large organisation in the insurance and financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced Integration Developer to join a central Integration team within a customer and broker-facing digital domain.
The team plays a key role in building a future-ready integration ecosystem that enables seamless digital experiences for brokers, supports internal teams with modern tooling, and improves the overall end-customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services:
- Logic Apps
- Service Bus
- API Management
- Event Grid
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and application architects to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Build scalable, secure, cloud-based integration workflows and APIs.
- Monitor, deploy, and maintain integrations in Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and optimise integrations across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Maintain and enhance existing integrations in line with evolving business needs.
- Document integration designs, processes, and troubleshooting procedures following established service patterns and guidelines.
- Provide 3rd line support on the integration platform.
- Stay up to date with Azure technologies and integration best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in integration development using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure API Management
- Logic Apps
- Service Bus
- Event Grid
- .NET and C#
- Solid knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security principles, and integration patterns.
- Experience working in an Agile (SAFe) environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Independent, systematic, and results-driven working style.
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership of technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft BizTalk.
- Knowledge of enterprise applications and middleware platforms.
- Background or exposure to the insurance domain.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect).
