We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join our Customer Application team.

You will work in a cross-functional team responsible for more than 10 applications built for our end customers.

You will work on front-related topics within our transformation roadmap.

You will assist in developing the solution definition to deliver a high-quality end-to-end IT solution that creates an excellent user experience for brokers and partners.

You should have relevant experience as a Functional Analyst within an insurance context, with a strong focus on user experience (UX) — translating user needs into intuitive and effective solutions.
Tasks

Responsible for analysis, documentation, and functional testing within the Customer Applications product team.

Start from business analysis, architectural vision, and imposed standards to define the correct functional and non-functional requirements.

Participate in workshops with key stakeholders to collect requirements.

Model agreed processes and describe needs in a clear, structured, and unambiguous way for both business and product teams, using use cases and structured documentation.

Ensure coordination and knowledge transfer between all involved parties, both business and IT.

Together with your colleagues, ensure that design guidelines are followed and kept up to date.

Participate in projects to contribute to the delivery of high-quality IT solutions within the agreed scope, time, and budget.

Collaborate effectively with external parties, both onsite and offshore.

Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience (Medior to Senior).

Experience with functional analysis in large insurance organizations is a plus.

Knowledge of analysis and modeling techniques such as BPMN and UML, including use cases, is a plus.

Willing to learn and master designer tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Adonis).

Familiar with Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Relevant Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ900 – Azure Fundamentals).
Insurance Knowledge

Knowledge of insurance processes is essential for successful job performance.
