Mission:


The IVVQ engineer will be part of the System Engineering discipline of our client, which is responsible for the system engineering and integration of solutions for homeland and defense customers. The IVVQ engineer will be responsible for the integration, verification, validation and qualification of the embedded tactical solutions in the laboratory, on target platforms (vehicular, soldier or terrestrial infrastructure) and in the field test campaigns.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Assemble the solution/product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behavior, interactions and performance,
  • Verify that all requirements against which the solution/product has been designed are fulfilled in accordance with the test strategy, defined in the IVVQ Plan;
  • Create tests sequences, Propose test equipment & SW tools to reach good completion of tests sequences
  • Run test sequences based on debugged test scripts & write final report
  • Analyse and interpret test results and provide inputs to the subcontractors and development teams for solving issues;
  • Prepare and configure equipment for Proof Of Concept (PoC) of solution;
  • Document the test procedures and test reports in the IVVQ tools & generate formal documentation
  • Where possible, automate the test procedure to optimize the verification & validation campaigns.


Profile:


  • Bachelor or engineering degree in electrical engineering (electronics or radio/telecom);
  • Technically passionate and curious for technologies. Based on his/her previous expertise in electronics or radio networks, he/she will be eager to discover new technologies and is happy doing in lab/on vehicle measurements for ensuring correct functioning of the developed solution and reporting.
  • Knowledge/understanding of System engineering lifecycle and of the IVVQ process;
  • Good understanding and knowledge of radio systems, IT systems, IP networks and serial protocols.
  • Proven ability in the generation of test documentation (test procedures and test reports);
  • Ability to design electrical test fixtures is a plus
  • Ability to develop automated test programs
  • Microsoft office (Word, VISIO, Excel)
  • Rigorousness, commitment and accountability, ability to take and meet commitments
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to team members;
  • Fluent in English, Fluent in French is a plus.
