Functional Analyst – A&C Customer Applications (Insurance Industry)

About the Role
We are seeking a Functional Analyst to join our Customer Applications team within the insurance sector. You will be part of a cross-functional team managing over ten customer-facing applications, contributing to our digital transformation roadmap and enhancing user experience for brokers and partners.
Your focus will be on translating user needs into intuitive, high-quality IT solutions that align with both business objectives and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional analysis, documentation, and testing within the Customer Applications team.
- Translate business analysis and architectural vision into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in workshops with key stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements.
- Model and document business processes using use cases and structured documentation (BPMN, UML, etc.).
- Coordinate and ensure smooth knowledge transfer between business and IT teams.
- Maintain and align with design guidelines and project standards.
- Support project delivery within agreed scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external (onshore/offshore) partners.

Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst, ideally within the insurance industry.
- Familiarity with BPMN and UML modeling techniques.
- Experience in Agile environments (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.).
- Knowledge of design tools (Enterprise Architect, Adonis) or willingness to learn.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-900) is a plus.
- Deep understanding of insurance business processes is essential.
