Azure DevOps Expert – IT Distributed Frameworks (Insurance Sector)

About the Role

A leading organization in the insurance industry is seeking an Azure DevOps Expert to strengthen its Distributed Frameworks team — a small group of architects and engineers managing the corporate .NET framework and CI/CD platform.

The role focuses on revisiting DevOps governance and security models, automating operational procedures, and maintaining standardized YAML templates for consistent application builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the security model of Azure DevOps.
• Design, document, and maintain YAML build/release templates.
• Automate operational tasks and standardize development pipelines.
• Collaborate and align solutions with architects and developers.
• Provide documentation, training, and support for development teams.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise (Mandatory):

• Azure DevOps (expert level)
• YAML templating
• Security governance
• C# and REST API development (JSON, Swagger, etc.)
• Azure DevOps REST API
• Strong technical documentation skills

Nice-to-Have:

• .NET 10 / .NET architecture experience
• Azure stack familiarity
• Node.js or PowerShell scripting
• Azure DevOps customization, SAST/DAST tools

Profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent through experience)
• Minimum 3 years managing Azure DevOps organizations
• Strong leadership and problem-solving mindset
• Communicative, proactive, and pragmatic approach
• Fluent in English, with good command of Dutch or French
