Mission
As Business Development Manager (IT Division), your focus is clear: hunt and acquire new clients in IT and digital sectors. You will create new relationships, open doors, and establish the first business connections. Once an account matures, it transitions to an Account Manager, who will manage and grow it further.
You’ll be at the forefront of Sparagus’ commercial growth in the IT consulting market.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target new clients across IT services, banking, insurance, and digital transformation.
- Generate new leads through research, outreach, and networking.
- Build strong first relationships with key stakeholders (CTOs, HR, Procurement, etc.).
- Pitch Sparagus’ IT consulting solutions (software, data, cyber, infrastructure, digital).
- Negotiate and close deals that ensure profitable and long-term collaboration.
- Transfer newly acquired clients to the Account Management team for ongoing support.
- Report on pipeline metrics, revenue goals, and market developments.
- Represent Sparagus at IT industry events and conferences.
Profile

4+ years’ experience as a Business Developer / Hunter in IT consulting, staffing, or digital services.
- Proven ability to generate leads, secure first deals, and open new accounts.
- Tenacious, autonomous, and target-driven personality.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Fluent in English and French (Dutch is a plus).
- Understanding of IT roles and technologies (Java, .NET, Cloud, Data, Cyber) is desirable.
