About the Role
A leading organisation in the Utility & Energy Infrastructure industry is seeking a Domain Expert in Data Quality to strengthen its Networks Factory division. This expert will support data quality initiatives across electricity, gas and telecom networks, working closely with the Factory Lead.
The mission includes identifying data quality gaps, defining improvement strategies, ensuring data governance, and coordinating functional and technical activities within the domain.
Hybrid work is possible, but regular onsite presence (Gosselies/Namur) is required. A driving licence and vehicle are needed due to limited public transport access.
Key Responsibilities
1. Functional Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the domain team.
- Ensure compliance with methodological standards and best practices.
2. Technical & Functional Expertise
- Gather business needs and translate them into user stories.
- Validate requirements from various stakeholders.
- Understand operational processes related to the domain.
- Maintain solution coherence with the long-term Factory strategy.
- Participate in roadmap discussions and product evaluations.
- Contribute to RFIs/RFPs documentation and analysis.
3. Analysis & Documentation
- Oversee the creation of Business Specifications and Functional Detailed Specifications.
- Ensure alignment between needs, proposed solutions and existing systems.
- Maintain traceability of analysis and ensure up-to-date functional documentation.
4. Quality of Deliverables
- Apply testing methodologies and organise integration, functional and technical tests.
- Monitor acceptance test results from business stakeholders.
- Coordinate defect analysis, incident resolution and functional corrections.
5. Operational Follow-up
- Monitor ongoing initiatives, support requests, incidents and problem management.
- Lead post-project follow-up (bug fixing, enhancements).
- Oversee release content and ensure alignment with the Factory release calendar.
