Mission


As Business Development Manager (Engineering Division), you’ll be responsible for expanding Sparagus’ client base in industrial, aerospace, defense, and energy sectors. You’ll identify new opportunities, build long-term partnerships, and drive sustainable commercial growth through our engineering consulting services.


Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the engineering market (aerospace, defense, energy, transport, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, client meetings, proposal drafting, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with Delivery and Account Management teams to ensure the best consultant match for each project.
  • Monitor market trends, tenders, and sector developments to anticipate client needs.
  • Represent Sparagus at trade shows, industry events, and professional networks.
  • Report on pipeline, KPIs, and commercial objectives.


Profile


  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in business development, account management, or technical sales in engineering consulting or industrial services.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, autonomous, and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication in English and French (Dutch is a plus).
  • Familiarity with aerospace, energy, or defense ecosystems is a strong asset.
